1 On 1 gets it done!

One on one training is all about focussing on you and your goals. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Individualised programming and training will strip out the thing you don’t need so that you can concentrate on the things that will yield the best results.

time to pause …

Sometimes it helps to look in the rear view mirror to remind ourselves about where we started. The year isn’t over. We still have a little bit further to push. Looking back … and seeing all the gains will help us run through the finish line and keep going.

Cold winter mornings: how to trade a warm bed for cold steel!

Attendance at morning sessions tends to nosedive in tune with the plummeting temperature gauge during winter. Don’t succumb to the comfort of the comforter! Get up and get at it! After all, we’re used to intentionally making ourselves uncomfortable in CrossFit right?

Mindful training – achieve anything you set your mind to

As a coach I have lots of discussions about mind-set and the mental game with clients. Motivation is hard to maintain at the moment for lots of people in isolation. We all know that good nutrition and lots of exercise is crucial to maintain at the moment. But it’s still hard to find the will to workout sometimes. Kill COVID-19 with Kettlebells!

Kettlebells are a ‘go to’ item for me when looking for a workout solution in a hurry. They’re also the perfect antidote to the sedentism pandemic coming our way, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Here’s a little explainer about why I think they’re so aweseome! We’ve crossed over people!

We’ve stepped into another dimension. We don’t really know what lies ahead. But we know what we can control. Enforced closures are another challenge to our business. But what we do is based on our fondness of facing up to challenges every day. Don’t you think?
